Today was another gloomy day. It's raining. Dougie let me sleep in this morning by getting up with the baby at 9:30am when he wanted to eat. I got to sleep until 11:30am! Once I woke up I got a call from Mrs. Connie. We were off to Cracker Barrel with her, Kristen and Mrs. Hampton. I got the Chicken and Dumplings (5pts) Mashed Potatoes (4pts) and Green Beans (1pt), all for a whopping $6.99. That place is soooo good and cheap. Thank goodness it's so far away or else I'd be the fattest person ever!

After I got home Dougie went to bowling and my Mom and Kathleen came over. We played with Lil D for about an hour. I showed them how he plays in his bumbo. He was smiling so much!

March 14, 2008

Saturday I woke up early and went to the MD Home and Garden show again. This time I went with my Mom, Sister, and Lil D (of course). They couldn't go last time because they were getting ready for the baptism. It was a cool overcast day, but overall an ok day to go out and play.

First thing we did was eat because we got there right around lunch time! Kathleen got the crab cake, my mom got the roast beef sandwich, and I got a hot dog. I didn't realize the hot dog was 8 points when I ate it, lol.

The stands were different than last time which was nice so I didn't have to see the same things again. But I was super happy that the wine stands were still there :)

Another thing that was new was the Orchid Show! I've never seen such beautiful flowers before! I couldn't help snapping a few pics :)

I did a good few hours of walking so I got 4 AP's! That made me really excited because we were going over Mrs. Connies for dinner.

When we got there there was ham and pierogi's. Very yummy. Then we played a dice game, it was fun! Dougie won and I came in second. Keira and Lil D were there having a blast...well at least Keira was, Lil D's face doesn't seem so excited!

It's Friday wohoo! Dougie stayed home today because we were out late last night so we just had a lazy day at home with the baby. It was really nice actually, we caught up on all the episodes of House we missed and played on the computer. Then at around 6pm we picked up our cousin Heather and our old friend Billy and we headed to Reckless Rics.

It would just be a regular Friday at the bar but today was Friday the 13th! If you dress up on Friday the 13th in a halloween costume you get free drinks all night! I was the only one to dress up, I felt so silly. Once I walked in I realized it was not worth it, I was the only one dressed up for like the first hour we were there, but then 2 other girls showed up. People were asking me all night why I looked like that, but it was a good time!

I am worn out!

Ughh. Today was a hectic day. I cleaned the bathroom really well, I mean I got on my hands and knees and scrubed. I did dishes, and two loads of laundry. Little Dougie was being pretty good all day he slept a lot which is nice for me because I can get things done.

Doug went straight from work to the gym and once he got home I left to do a spinning class.

Now don't get me wrong, I've been to a spinning class before and I know what to expect. However, I forgot how incredibly draining it was. I felt like I was going to get sick in the middle of it and my face stayed bright red for about 1 1/2 hours.

So Im tired, tomorrow we're going out, I can't wait!!!

My little boy was Baptised today!

Oh Joy! My son was Baptised today. I am so stoked. It was very moving, the whole church got to see him and in a way we all touched him by making everyone hold hands (sounds wierd but it was cool). The church was gorgeous!

He was all ready for his big day!

We went to the after party at Perry's across the street. The food was not very good but everyone was there and we were all having a great time. Poor lil dougie was being passed around like a foot ball, I'm sure he loved every second though.

And all of our friends were there!

We got a ton of presents for him, which he loves :)

After presents we had cake. It was super delicious but I only got a tiny teenie square cuz of weight watchers. It was so cool, it was shaped like a bible!Overall it was a great day, which makes me very happy.

Maryland Home and Garden Show!

Today is Saturday. Connie and I were going to just have a lazy day and lay around but instead we decided to do something. So we headed to the Home and Garden show at timonium fair grounds. We all packed in the car, Kristen, Connie, Keira, Lil D, and I.

It was really fun. There were two wine tasting areas, we all tried the wines from each list at least twice, haha! They only give you a thimble full!!!

The best part about the whole day is that Mrs. Connie bought me a GORGEOUS butterfly necklace for my birthday (which is in about a month!)

The moth I have is called a Nemoria Lixaria, it's a native maryland moth. The necklace uses it's natural colors but they artifically enhance them to make the necklace more vibrant. It's lime green with hot pink dots around the edges.

Steven and Kristen's Birthday Party

Last night we went to a party at my mother in law's house for Steven and Kristen.

It would have been a lot better if I weren't so gosh darn tired. But never the less, I got my bottle of wine (which I made certain everyone knew that was HEATHER'S WINE) and drank the whole damn thing. Thing is, I didn't even get that tipsy, bummer.

We hung out inside at first and everyone was playing with the babies
Then we went outside to sit near the fire and hang out. I brought little Dougie with me for a few minutes, but I was worried that it may either be too cold or super hot near the fire so I brought him back inside but not before getting some pictures!

After a while it was cupcake time. Although I am on weight watchers I couldn't help but indulge in just one. Can you guess what color the icing was?
